Human Rights Day was observed on 11.12.2023. A session was organized on the theme ‘Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights’ at the YWCA which included a discussion with the experts (Advocate Seema Sood and Dr. Amita Chaudhary) on topics such as menstrual hygiene, STI’s & STDs, prevention, diagnosis and treatment of sexual and reproductive health related cancers, forced sterilization, forced abortion, early marriage, sexual and gender-based violence, prevention and response. Around 30 women participated in the session including approx. 20 young
women.
